Advanced Coaching
Our base in Newquay is now recognised as one of the best equipped schools in the UK for advanced surf coaching. We use the latest video coaching techniques, quality in-depth lectures and surf coaching DVDs and amongst our hand picked instructors lies a vast range of experience, ensuring that we are suitably qualified to coach at the very highest level.
Errant Surf School currently operates two specialist coaching weekends. The Longboard Coaching weekend is one of Europe's most popular short surf courses and is aimed at longboarders seeking to perfect their nose riding, manoeuvres, wave selection, fitness and cross-stepping technique.
The second course is our Improver weekend. This course truly lives up to its name time and time again. We have specially designed this course for surfers who have hit a plateau and need the guidance and insightful technique tips that will propel them forward. The Improver weekend is perfect for surfers who can already catch plenty of waves but need to work on generating speed, fine-tuning their turns and understanding and progressing into the fine points of the next level.
2007 will also see Errant introducing further courses including ‘How to Shape a Surfboard’, ‘Riding Big Waves’ and ‘Building Confidence in the Surf’. Watch this space for more details or get in touch to enquire if these concepts are of interest.
