Background
Chris has worked as a surf coach for over seven years and has been selected to teach at many specialist coaching workshops around the country including the O’Neill Surf Academy in Croyde and the English Surfing Federation’s All Girls Surf Day. Chris has also taught in the Canaries, Barbados, France and Morocco and created the unique 121 Surf Coach operation to develop new, personalised surf teaching methods, which he has now further evolved for the Errant Surf School. He now takes time out from running Errant Surf Holidays and professional surfing in contests to coach on a private level for all abilities at Watergate Bay in Newquay. He is currently a level three surf coach. Chris is also heavy involved in coaching aspiring young surfers and developed the Grom Exchange scheme, sponsored by Errant, to provide unique new opportunities for this young talent pool to progress to new levels.

Background
Vince brings many years of surfing and surf coaching experience to the Errant Surf School. Vince is a committed member of the surf community and plays a key role in the Watergate Bay Surf Life Saving Club where he runs the weekly lifeguard training sessions ensuring all staff are constantly fit and up-to-date with the latest lifeguard and first aid material. Vince is the father of four surfing children, and one of his sons is the most promising consistent competitors at his level, proving Vince knows what it takes to coach younger surfers and adults alike, nurturing them towards the very best of their abilities.
Lucia Griggi
Qualifications
BSA level two surf coach and NARS beach lifeguard.
Lucia Daniella Griggi born in Jersey 1982, brought up from an Italian background, led her to study in London, England. After completing a Bsc (hons), her love for surfing brought her to Cornwall in 2000. During her time in Cornwall Lucia has developed a strong coaching background and continues to push girls surfing well into future.
